Eric Nordstrom

Eric Nordstrom is from Minnesota and earned his BS in Archaeological Sciences with Program Honors from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2016. He worked in cultural resource management across the Upper Midwest, Great Basin, and northern Texas for several years before coming to MSU. Eric is currently working with Dr. Goliath and Dr. Lambert, and spends his time focusing on Bioarchaeology and Forensic Archaeology/Anthropology. Eric is one of the Team Leads for the Forensic Recovery Team at MSU. His research takes a Bioarchaeological approach to the study of Altered States of Consciousness by performing chemical analyses of dental calculus to look for the presence of psychoactive compounds.
