Jessie grew up in New York City in a Middle Eastern/ Latinx household, and she received her B.S. in Biological Anthropology with an interdisciplinary study in biology and chemistry in 2018 and B.A. in Anthropology in 2022 from CUNY-Lehman College. Her research focus includes forensic anthropology, human osteology, analysis of skeletal trauma particularly regarding cases of human rights violations, and bioarcheology.
